How the Fill PDF Form tool works
This tool detects interactive AcroForm fields in a PDF — text fields, checkboxes, radio button groups, dropdown lists, and list boxes — and lets you fill them in your browser. After you enter values, the tool flattens the fields, making them non-editable static content in the downloaded PDF. The original file is never modified.
Signature fields (digital signatures) are not filled by this tool. Scanned forms without AcroForm structure are also not supported; for those, use the PDF Editor to add text overlays manually.
All detection, filling, and flattening happens locally in your browser using PDF.js for field detection and pdf-lib for form manipulation. The file never leaves your device.
