Subscription management

File Maktab uses Lemon Squeezy as its merchant of record for paid subscriptions. When you subscribe, you are purchasing from Lemon Squeezy, and your subscription is managed through their customer portal.

How to cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

• Sign in to File Maktab and go to Account → Billing
• Click "Manage subscription" to open the Lemon Squeezy customer portal
• In the portal, you can cancel, update payment methods, or download invoices

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access to paid features until that period ends.

Refund policy

Refunds are handled according to Lemon Squeezy's merchant policies and applicable consumer protection laws. As a general guideline:

• Refund requests for recent charges (typically within 14–30 days) may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Refunds are not guaranteed for subscription periods already used or for changes of mind
• Technical issues that prevent use of paid features should be reported to support for investigation

To request a refund, email support@filemaktab.com with your subscription details and the reason for the request.

What happens after cancellation

• Your account remains active with paid features until the end of the current billing period
• After the period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan
• No further charges will be made
• Your account data and preferences are retained; you can resubscribe at any time

Disputed charges

If you believe a charge was made in error, contact support at support@filemaktab.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We will investigate and resolve valid issues promptly.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the product or payment provider terms evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
