How we document tools and review guidance

This policy explains how product content is prepared, how practical claims are checked, and how changes or corrections are handled.

Scope and purpose

File Maktab content describes available tool behavior, supported formats, known limits, and processing paths. We distinguish browser-local processing from features that contact a server, and do not promise layout or quality that a tool does not provide.

How information is checked

We compare guidance with the current application, implementation, and project tests. When we publish measurements or comparisons, we state the method, data, and limitations; the published PDF compression benchmark uses synthetic files and does not represent every user document.

Authorship and review

The File Maktab team publishes product content as the service operator. We do not attribute an article to an individual expert or writer unless their identity and contribution are verified and clearly stated. We do not claim independent review or professional endorsement unless explicitly documented.

Updates and corrections

We revise guidance when a feature, supported format, stated limit, or relevant policy changes. To report an inaccuracy, send the page URL and suggested correction through the contact page; reports are reviewed and confirmed errors are corrected.

Disclosure and privacy

Some tools run locally, while AI or assisted services may send specific text or data to a server; the relevant tool description and privacy policy explain this. We do not invent ratings or user outcomes, and disclose advertising or paid relationships when applicable.

Local processing and clarity first.
