Account metadata
The optional account area does not save files or filenames. It can retain only chosen tool metadata and a coarse size range. You can clear activity, remove synced tool entries, or delete the local File Maktab account from account settings.

Retention, ownership, access control, and deletion will be explained before any new server file upload is added.
AI processing data
AI features do not store your files, extracted text, or images on File Maktab servers. Input data is forwarded to the third-party LLM provider for the duration of the request and discarded after the response. The provider's own retention and training policies apply — see the Privacy page for details. No AI request/response data is persisted by File Maktab.
