Rules that keep File Maktab safe, lawful, and available for everyone.
Do not use the tools to process, create, or distribute content that is illegal, infringes copyright or other rights, invades privacy, or exploits or harms others. You are responsible for having the right to process the files you choose.
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, probe or bypass security or rate limits, scrape the site at disruptive volumes, or access another user's account or data.
Browser-local tools process the selected file without sending its contents to File Maktab’s server; separate operational telemetry may still be sent. Server-assisted AI tools send the text or image you submit through File Maktab to a configured processing endpoint. Review the privacy policy first and avoid submitting passwords, private keys, API credentials, or other sensitive material unless you have confirmed the applicable protections.
Do not use the AI tools to generate content for fraud, deception, or unlawful purposes, and do not submit other people's personal data without a lawful basis.
Use that violates this policy may be restricted or blocked. Where account features are involved, repeated abuse can lead to account removal.
