Enter the password (user or owner).
Download the unlocked copy once opened.
Remove PDF password protection inward when you provide the correct password, processed locally in your browser.
When you have the correct password, a protected PDF can be decrypted and saved again without the security wrapper. This tool opens the file with the password you enter and writes back an unlocked copy — useful before uploading a contract your team needs to process without retyping a password every time.
Unlocking never bypasses encryption: the wrong password simply fails and nothing is downloaded. The tool also refuses accidental surprise by asking for confirmation when a protected copy is created on the paired protect tool.

The password is checked locally; no file or password is uploaded.
Honest failure messaging: a wrong password says so instead of producing a corrupt file.
The unlocked output is re-saved by the PDF engine, so pages stay exactly as they were.
