Export an Excel worksheet as CSV
CSV is the interchange format of data: databases, scripts, other spreadsheets, and web tools all accept it. Exporting a worksheet to CSV is the standard way to move data out of Excel into something else — or to share data without Excel-specific features getting in the way.
This tool exports the visible values of a selected worksheet from an XLS or XLSX workbook to a UTF-8 CSV file, locally in your browser. The CSV contains values, not formulas — a cell that computes a total exports as the computed number. Merged cells and formatting are flattened, because CSV has no way to represent them.
